Scabies

Occurs when tiny bugs called mites crawl under your skin and lay eggs. They are very contagious.

  • Symptoms: Intense itching and red bumps on your skin, especially in the webs of your fingers and toes, skin folds, armpits, around the nipples, on the penis, or on the bottom of your feet

  • Treatment: Visit a free clinic as soon as possible - no over-the-counter medication will treat it!

  • Get treated sooner rather than later. The intense itching often causes people to tear their skin from scratching, leading to infection.
